Abstract
Recovery of the remains of an animal enclosure dating from the 10th century AD. During the process R.-D. Bleck examined samples of dirt from excavations at the site to determine their phosphate content. As a result of deposition of organic remains within the enclosure, values of P2O5 were elevated to 8.8-10.2 in contrast to P2O5 values of 2.2 in the immediate environment. -- AATA
