This article describes a technical examination of Rembrandt's <i>Raising of Lazarus which was done in order to characterize Rembrandt's style as well as to distinguish between Rembrandt and his workshop. The examination included the use of a low-power microscope, special photographic methods, radiography, chemical analysis of pigments, cross sections of various color areas. The results of the pigment analysis are given. There is a description of the conservation treatment and Rembrandt's technique. -- AATA
