Abstract
After much preliminary discussion with architects the textile conservation section at the Victoria and Albert Museum took over a specially designed and equipped workshop at Osterley. This paper describes the work area and the equipment. The large washing tank, drying tables and the vacuum hot table are described in detail. Details of lighting are also given. See also AATA 15-477.
