The author describes in detail the six-step process in which he uses a recently available solvent to remove weathered coatings of Incralac from outdoor bronze statues and tablets. The solvent, a paint and lacquer remover (PMC Protina Solvent), emulsifies the lacquer to allow its removal by scrubbing with clean burlap, and thorough rinsing. Safety precautions are emphasized.
