A poster describing the examination by x-radiography of Northwest Coast totem poles is summarized. The radiographic technique involves digital interpretation of the images and construction of three dimensional scale models to slow losses arising from rot. Supplementary work was done with a 65 Pilodyn survey. These investigations were carried out to assist subsequent conservation work and reinforcement for re-erection.
