Abstract
In a poster session first results were presented of work using a 3-D laser scanner system, the HYSCAN-60. Possible applications are suggested before illustrating use in creating a replica of a stone mask. The data obtained by the scanner was linked to a numerically controlled milling machine. Time saved in replicating using this technique rather than conventional methods is stressed and the method is completely harmless to the object. B/W photographs.
