In studying the internal structure of archaeological objects made of wood, ceramics, metal and stone, the use of X-rays reveals the techniques of manufacture and the state of preservation. Seven items are described: Ceramics, 1) Ming Ki statuette (Han Period), 2) and 3) statuettes of victory (Myrina); Stone 4) scarab; and Metal, 5) statuette of Vajrapani (Western Tibet), 6) heads of fibulae (Merovingian), and 7) bronze pot (Gallo-Roman).
