Abstract
Methods are detailed for protecting wooden structures from contact with the ground, installing metal fasteners and protecting them from corrosion, putting netting on thatched roofs and providing chemical protection for wooden structures, both on the surface and for penetration, all with due regard to minimizing hazards to persons who may come in contact with the treated materials. Consideration is also given to the protection of song birds which tend to feed on insects and to training of ferrets and other carniverous animals that are useful for rodent control. -- AATA
