Twelve species of adult stored-product beetles were treated in Soft Winter wheat with infrared radiation at temperatures of 49, 57, and 65 C. Considerable variation in mortality was evident among the species at the lowest temperature. Mortality of the insects treated at 57 C ranged from 93 to 100% and mortality of insects treated at 65 C was 99.6% or more for each species tested.
