The problem of locating cavities in ancient walls which may hold historically valuable objects is often met in archaeological research. Radiometry solves this problem with high precision and without causing damage to the studied object. The paper describes the practical use of radiometry during the archaeological research at the Church of Trinity in Jesenice, Bohemia.
