Abstract
James Reilly evaluated storage enclosure materials (buffering agents) for photographs using the ANSI photographic activity test. Buffered board and paper appeared to be safe because effects, if any, were not significant enough, and the test itself was not sufficiently sensitive. The procedure is described. -- AATA
