Revised report of a 1980 unpublished work titled: The Tomb of Nefertari: deterioration, phenomena, factors and treatment techniques, planned to provide information needed for the final conservation project. Presents the results of x-ray diffraction and x-ray fluorescence analyses, as well as wet chemical analysis, and normal microscopic investigation of pigments (blue, bluish green, red, yellow, and white) of three plaster samples from referenced locations, and of representative salt crystallizations.
