Abstract
Samples of flint were prepared by breaking the flint artefact and selecting 20 pieces of approximately 20 mg each from each specimen. The samples were activated twice at a thermal flux of 7 x 1012 n cm-2 sec-1. The first activation was for 15 minutes and Mn was determined; the second activation was for 24 hours. A method of pattern recognition analysis was applied to the results.
