Abstract
The 110° thermoluminescence peak of quartz in ancient pottery is a measure of the natural radiation dose experienced during burial and was used for the age determination of pottery together with measurements of the radioactive content of the pottery. Results are reported for Chinese ceramics and some important young terracottas, including forgeries of Etruscan material. -- AATA
