Abstract
A laboratory IR television-system model developed in 1976 for the examination of paintings in refiected IR is used at the All Union Central Research Laboratory for Conservation and Restoration of Museum Artistic Works. The television system design is based on the standard industrial tele-set PTU-31 and IR-vidicon; it can examine works of art in wave lengths up to 1500 nm through visual observation of the screen of the monitor. -- AATA
