Abstract
Using IR-spectroscopy, a material analysis was performed on samples of ground and paint. Ground consisted of dehydrated gypsum and protein. Beeswax was used as a binder for some of the paints and as a coating for the painting. The green pigment was copper resinate; an admixture was present in other pigments. See 18-432. -- AATA
