Tests were carried out to discover the best methods for removing lichen growth from an aboriginal rock engraving site near Bolgart, Western Australia. Water, detergents, fungicides, ammoniuri hydroxide, and zinc flurosilicate were used. Recommendations are dependent on the art and the rock type.
