Abstract
Results of cleaning treatment fo 12th-century stone from Canterbury and Rochester cathedrals and Rye Parish church. Thickly sulfated exterior stonework was treated with ammonium carbonate, used in poultices of sepiolite and carboxymethylcellulose.
