Abstract
A multielemental method of trace analysis has been profitably used in provenance studies of white marble artifacts. The decision to use neutron activation analysis (NAA) for the identification of a trace element fingerprint of a quarry site is mostly based on special qualities such as high sensitivity, good precision, undisputed accuracy, and reliability of its results.
