The chronology is compiled from oak timber collected in the area east of the river Gotha and has dated timber found in excavations of the medieval town of Lödöse, Sweden. The chronology covers 831-1975 AD. Timber from six other excavation sites, a number of historic buildings, and medieval churches has also been dated. A table of sapwood rings is given.
