Abstract
An underground cave was recreated at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. The various framing materials, which were carved and textured by hand, were coated with PPG Industries' Selectron 50125 resin. After two years of use, no deterioration had yet been noticed; visitor damage, such as breaking off a stalactite or stalagmite is easily remedied.
