Abstract
Presents a preliminary report of an archaeological application of chemical analysis with regard to Roman pottery from Arezzo in Tuscany and La Graufesenque in the south of France. Investigations of a mold fragment found in La Graufesenque, as well as investigations of fragments of earthenware excavated in a necropolis nearby, are discussed.
