Abstract
Dorothea Restorations Limited was established in the early 1970's to fulfil a growing need for a specialist service in the conservation of industrial machinery and engineering structures. Since then wide experience has been gained in projects as diverse as cast and wrought iron structures, traditional water and wind mills, steam engines and boilers of all sizes, process plant, brickworks machinery, and even early cornflakes packaging equipment. The firm's directors have published a Statement of Conservation Policy which is presented and discussed.
