The paper deals with the biodeterioration of movable indoor art objects and control measures that can be adopted. The study also considers human health hazards caused by the use of chemical insecticides and pesticides. Future activities on the subject are divided into four main categories: environmental control, chemical control, biological control, and radiological control.
