A restorer, whose training is not specified, has made a 28-minute film exposing what he considers to be damages which take place during restoration of paintings. (Abstractor's note: situations cited in the film such as cutting apart paintings to make several works, willful alteration of the subject matter, or cropping a painting to fit a frame are not current professional conservation practices. The ex- restorer filmmaker apparently does not understand this.)
