Abstract
Acrylic resins that can be reversibly solubilized in water by the addition of ammonia are described as a class. Several formulations are subjected to preliminary performance tests as possible consolidants for large areas of architectural plaster, where the use of water as solvent offers important advantages with respect to fire and toxicity hazards. Two resins are subjected to additional analyses of composition, and of chemical and thermal stability. -- AATA -- AATA
