Abstract
Prompt measures which may prevent subsequent deterioration are prescribed for the following kinds of objects with the caution that each is an individual problem, depending on its construction and the extent of the wetting: polychrome and unpainted wooden objects, oil paintings on fabric or cardboard supports, prints, drawings, water colors and printed matter. Recommended equipment and procedures are described.
