Abstract
A new method of demineralization of bone hydrolysates is described, based on the sorption of phosphates and calcium ions on an anion exchange column in oxalate form. Using this procedure, a complete analysis of fossil bones ranging from 100 to 40,000 years old was carried out. The results show that as the age of the samples increases, the content of the unusual amino acid ornithine increases. -- AATA
