Abstract
Protective gloves are made of different types of material. They should therefore be chosen carefully in order to ensure that they provide protection against the particular substance/solvent in use. A table indicates the resistance of gloves made from natural rubber, neoprene, buna-n, butyl, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene and nitrile to some commonly used chemicals.
