The US Environmental Protection Agency has started a review of the pesticide Dichlorvos (ddvp, vapona), a possible carcinogen. It is recommended that in the meantime use of dichlorvos-treated pest strips be restricted to situations where the exposure for conservators is minimal and where are no acceptable alternatives.
