Abstract
The results of this investigation clearly demonstrate a need to establish optimum temperature and moisture conditions for accelerated aging tests for paper. Unless this is done there is little hope for obtaining agreement among investigations on paper permanence or for designing an accelerated test for paper which will produce meaningful results.
