Analytical appendix by M. J. Hughes and M. R. Cowell of some 25 silver items, both sheets and coins, from the hoard, includes analysis by x-ray fluorescence and atomic absorption spectroscopy. All items are of fairly good silver, with one or two parts of copper, and substantial traces of gold and a little tin, and surprisingly little lead. -- AATA
