Abstract
Neutron activation analysis of large number of ceramic artifacts and clays from different locations around the Aegean and eastern Mediterranean coasts was applied to determine major and trace element concentrations for the purpose of grouping them and establishing their geographic origins. Standardization and calibration were done by including samples of 6 U. S. Geological survey standard rocks with each group of samples. 18 elements were determined.
