The physicochemical properties of the polyvinyl acetate, vinyl acrylate, and styrene acrylate aqueous dispersions Duvilax® and Sokrat® were investigated in the first part of this study. In the second part, the properties of other Sokrat styrene acrylate and pure acrylate dispersions were investigated. The pure acrylate dispersion (Sokrat 6492) is recommended for preservation purposes in libraries and archives.
