This article summarizes the opinions expressed by experts on the subject of durable paper. The Istituto Nazionale per la Grafica sent a questionnaire to institutions related to a production of paper in various countries. Thirty-one institutions and individuals from ten different countries responded. The results demostrate current scientific knowledge on paper permanence.
