Abstract
The author recounts how large pieces of machinery weighing up to 60 tons were manhandled and raised using a team of 30 men with levers, rollers and rope. The author speculates on the length of time and number of men that would have been required to build various prehistoric monuments such as Stonehenge. -- AATA
