Problems and state of results presented by 8 pieces, from Friedrich Herlin to Tilman Riemenschneider and Michael Pacher to Bert Notke, are discussed in general. Future meetings policy is emphasized to care for some standardization of preparation and discussions of similar works at a high level. Both historical and scientific documentation besides the basic contribution of the restorer should therefore offer the information necessary for proper decisions of the different participants to ensure a fruitful collaboration and equilibrium between the restorer's task of best conservation and the maximum of examinations possible. -- AATA
