Abstract
A detailed treatment report of the restoration of a large Hungarian cyclorama executed in 1891-94. 20% of the picture was destroyed in World War II. Restoration which began in 1975 and is still in progress has solved the sagging problem inherent in a large canvas by gluing 15 x 4 meter pieces of the restored painting on arched panels of light material, which consists of layers of glass quilt plus polyester resin laminate, impregnated carton honeycomb cell, and PVC hard foam to which the canvas is adhered. -- AATA
