This report documents the current intervention of restoration of frescoes by Masaccio, Masolino, and Filippino Lippi in the Brancacci Chapel, Santa Maria del Carmine, Florence. The first results of the work conducted by the Istituto Centrale del Restauro already allow better reading and comparison of the styles and techniques of the painters. This work also allows the first publication of two cartoons. An article by Ornella Casazza, in the same issue of Critica d'Arte, titled <i>Il ciclo delle storie di San Pietro e la historia salutis. Nuova lettura della Cappella Brancacci</i> elaborates on the new findings.
