Abstract
This work is basically a revised edition of one section of the author's first book, History and practice of carbon processes (1982). The section covers dichromated pigment printing processes that can be made with a transfer, hence their classification as carbon transfer processes. This is essentially a practical book with detailed formulas that include the manufacture and use of the materials for the various carbon transfer processes, with particular attention to the choice of materials and techniques that will provide the most permanent prints. Formulas for the manufacture of filter-separated three-color prints are given but the actual three-color double transfer process is left to another book which has yet to be published. -- AATA
