Description of restoration and conservation carried out by chemical, mechanical and ultrasonic procedures on 16th century Turkish age jewelry buried in the cellar of the Ozora castle (Hungary). The find was buried wrapped in different fabrics that have been conserved, along with important textile remains on corroded metal objects surfaces. Restoration work for the 53 jewelry objects, pearls and silver coins included; pre-soaking in a sodium hexameta phosphate solution (for objects coated with atacamite-azurite-malachite corrosion products from the copper content of the silver); treatment with a citric-acid solution of thiourea and ammoniacal potassium carbonate.
