Abstract
Describes practices followed to insert a waterproof cement damp course in the brick foundation walls of the Beauregard House at Jean Lafitte National Historical Park, Louisiana, and to inject a chemical damp course for the light keeper's house at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, North Carolina. The latter employed a siliconate compound with aluminum stearate in alcohol.
