This volume was used in conjunction with the Conservation Analytical Laboratory's Furniture Conservation Training Course seminar on Conservation of Non-Wood Materials. Topics covered in this session of the seminar concern paper and included: identification of paper artifacts, manufacture of paper, deterioration of paper and media, treatment, general handling, housing and environments for storage and exhibition, unframing and framing, recommended light levels for exhibits, examination of paper, media problems, and paper conservation resources.
