This is a rough draft regarding the neutron activation analysis of 27 Attic clays. The clay had been analyzed as three components: unprocessed; fine fraction; and course fraction of the clay. The differences that did emerge were idiosyncratic. Generalizations about similarities or differences in elemental concentrations of unprocessed clays and their fine fractions cannot be easily made. Trace elements show more frequent differences than do the major elements.
