Abstract
Results are given of studies on 3-year-old <i>Bambusa blumeana</i> and <i>Gigantochloa levis</i> to determine the variation in moisture content, relative density, shrinkage, compression parallel to grain and static bending with height and to determine the correlation between these properties and fibrovascular bundle frequency, and fiber and vessel dimensions. -- AATA
