Abstract
In virtue of theoretic analysis of the possible mechanism of catalysis and experimental results, the kinetic equation of wood delignification in the presence of AQ is proposed. The kinetic order by catalyst changes in realtion to the AQ concentration from 0 to 1. The study of the relation of the initial rate of wood delignification in sodium hydroxide solution to AQ concentration (spruce sawdust, 12.5 g/l NaOH, 150°C, 0.05-1.0per thousand AQ) allowed to confirm the proposed catalysis mechanism. A conclusion was made that the delignification catalysis is a case of an activated catalysis.
