Abstract
Milled extracted wood of different species (spruce, pine, beech, birch, oak) was dissolved in Et3SiH and CF3COOH mixture (0.1 : 1 : 10) at 70°C, depending on sawdust dimenstions: the 0.5 mm sawdust was dissolved for 12h, the 2-3 mm - for 70h. In Et3SiH and CF3COOH separately, wood did not dissolve. iLignin model compounds, 1- guaiacylpropan-1-on and 1-guauacylpropan-1-on, were reduced up to guaiacylpropan rapidly and completely. Milled larch wood lignin was dissolved in this mixture during some minutes and changed very mush, as it was shown by the IR-spectra of the lignin before and after treatment: absorption bands of hydroxyl groups were decreased at 3550 cm-1, the bands of carbonyl groups completely disappeared at 1720 and 1670 cm-1, the absorption bands at 2740-3100 cm-1 wer considerable intensive. Different specimens of wood celluloses can be dissolved in the mentioned mixture, cellobiose splitted on glycosidic bond, reduced and acrylated to hexatrifluoroacetyl hexytol.
