Abstract

Research activities during the report period (October 1, 1985 to December 31, 1985) were devoted to artificially aging the silk fabrics prepared last quarter. They were then treated with a variety of stabilizers and evaluated for the stabilizer's effectiveness. A summary of the research results is given in Section II-A. Ancillary activities carried out during the quarter are described in Section II-B.
