Abstract
Increasing concern over possible toxicity problems of ethylene oxide led to an investigation of concentrations to which the operator was being exposed, the extent to which the environment was being polluted, the effectiveness of the treatment and the residues left on the treated material. Alternative approaches to the treatment of mould are listed.
