Abstract
A study of materials disinfected with ethylene oxide found that treated materials kept at 80% rh and 30 c were more vulnerable to re-infection than were non-treated materials. Alternatives such as use of gamma rays, freeze-drying and treatment with carbon dioxide are now being studied. Photographs.
